At Babe Planner®, we know you care about how your personal information is used and processed, and we take your privacy seriously.

We therefore invite you to read this text to learn more about our data processing policy and, if necessary, you can contact us for further clarification.

By using or accessing the services in any way, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information in the following ways.

Recitals

  1. The following Data Processing Policy concerns the websites and applications made available by MEYOU S.r.l. (hereinafter 'MEYOU') for the provision of the Babe Planner service (hereinafter 'Service'), a software application dedicated to the management of childcare facilities.

  2. In this text, we have tried to provide very simple explanations, but if you are not familiar with terms such as cookies, IP addresses, pixel tags, and browsers, it is advisable to first find and read information regarding these key terms.

  3. MEYOU, within the scope of the services offered, acts in some cases as the Data Controller and in others as the Data Processor, as provided by EU Regulation no. 2016/679. This differentiation is linked to:

    1. the type of service for which processing is carried out;

    2. the type of user interacting with the services offered.

MEYOU's Role and Reference Information

  1. The following list describes the types of users involved and the services provided by MEYOU; an indication of the reference Privacy Policy for that particular type of processing is then provided.

  2. Types of users involved:

    1. Visitor User: a user who interacts with the services provided by MEYOU without having an access session that qualifies them as a Utilizing User.

    2. Utilizing User: a user who fills out the Babe Planner registration form (for example, the manager of a childcare facility) and who uses the system to provide a service to their own customers.

    3. Registered User: a user who is registered on Babe Planner by the Utilizing User (for example, family members or employees of the facility).

Processing as Data Controller

  1. MEYOU acts as Data Controller in the following cases:

    1. Babe Planner contact forms, by any category of users.

    2. Babe Planner newsletter subscription, by any category of users.

    3. Statistics relating to the use of the Babe Planner website, by any category of users.

    4. Integration with social networks via the Babe Planner website, by any category of users.

    5. Babe Planner service registration form, by a Utilizing User.

    6. Statistics relating to the use of the Babe Planner application (website and mobile App), by a Utilizing User or Registered User.

Processing as Data Processor

  1. MEYOU acts as Data Processor for all personal data of Registered Users which are uploaded directly by the Utilizing User. For all processing where MEYOU acts as the Processor, the user is referred to the extended privacy notice in place between the Controller (in the form of the Utilizing User) and the Registered User.

  2. The Utilizing User hereby releases MEYOU from any liability toward third parties regarding personal data obtained, stored, or shared through the Service and guarantees to have obtained from each individual the right to collect, communicate, or disseminate them.

Privacy Policy as Data Controller - Babe Planner®

  3. Informs you, pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), that your data will be processed in the following ways and for the following purposes.

1. Subject of processing

  1. The Data Controller processes personal and identifying data (for example, cookies, usage data, name, surname, address, telephone, email, login credentials) within the framework of the services offered by the Babe Planner platform.

  2. Data is provided by you directly, when filling out the forms on the website, or indirectly, by visiting the website or using the App.

2. Purposes of processing

  1. Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

    1. monitoring access and use of the website and Apps;

    2. providing Babe Planner services;

3. Processing methods and data retention

  1. The processing of your personal data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in Art. 4, No. 2), of the GDPR: collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, alignment, restriction, erasure, and destruction of data.

  2. The Controller will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in Art. 2 above, and in any case for no more than 10 years from the termination of the relationship for Service Purposes, and for no more than 90 days from the date of last use for Marketing purposes.

4. Access to data

  1. Specially appointed data processors (internal staff, administrative, technical) and third-party companies performing activities on behalf of the Controller as Data Processors may have access to your personal data.

  2. Data will not be communicated or disseminated to third parties, except for necessary contractual fulfillments or legal obligations, unless your explicit and specific consent is provided.

5. Place of processing and data transfer

  1. Personal data is stored at the Data Controller's headquarters and on cloud servers located within the European Union.

  2. The Controller ensures that any transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with applicable legal provisions and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

6. Nature of data provision

  1. The provision of data for Service and Commercial Purposes (Art. 2a and 2b) is mandatory. In the event of failure to communicate such data, we will not be able to guarantee the requested services.

  2. Provision for Marketing Purposes (Art. 2c) is optional. You may deny consent without losing the right to the main Services.

7. Rights of the data subject

  1. In your capacity as a data subject, you have the following rights:

    1. right of access to personal data and information on the processing (Art. 15 GDPR);

    2. right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR);

    3. right to erasure or 'right to be forgotten' (Art. 17 GDPR);

    4. right to restriction of processing;

    5. right to object to processing for specific reasons;

    6. right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Garante).

8. How to exercise your rights

  1. You can exercise your rights by sending an email to team@babeplanner.com, a PEC to meyou@namirialpec.it, or a registered letter with return receipt to the registered office of MEYOU Srl.

9. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

  1. The details of the Data Protection Officer are available upon request via email or PEC to the addresses indicated above.

10. Data Processors

  1. The updated list of data processors is kept at the registered office of the Data Controller.

11. Changes to this Policy

  1. The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Policy at any time. We invite you to consult this page regularly, referring to the last modified date.

  2. Should the changes affect processing based on consent, the Controller will collect it again if necessary.
